If you were a donor - wouldn't you want to know who the "targeted Coach" was prior to "Ponying Up"
I certainly would . . .
All of this ambiguous nonsense is not going to get anyone to "Pony Up".
If the targeted Coach is Jimmy Johnson and the "Good Situation" is "sitting on his large Boat anchored in Miami - that would be one thing.
If the targeted Coach is the current Offensive Coordinator at Florida Southern and the "Good Situation" is that he has a very nice corner office - that is another.

why are you assuming it is ambiguous? it is to us, but I doubt it is to the elite donors being asked to help.

You are correct - I guess it is rather easy to keep everything under wraps when your "elite" donors encompass a grand total of 3 individuals, of which 2 have yet to figure out this "internet" thing.

I wonder if Fran has a newsletter that is being sent to the elite to let them know how the fundraising is progressing!

Well this would explain why I have been receiving one call per day from a '768' phone number for the past two weeks!... but they never leave a "we want you to Pony Up" message
