Starting the first week after Bennett was fired I was told by someone on the search committee we would not have a coach until the first of December. I sort of discounted it because I was excited and I read Ponyfans to much with all this speculation we've had with who and when. Every week that source has told me the first of December and again the first of December. I talked to him on Monday and I questioned why it was taking so long and I said there must be problems because everybody is hiring coaches left and right. He said the norm to hiring a coach is 3-6 weeks and this 2-3 day thing in not the norm. He also reminded me we didn't hire Bennett until December. I looked it up and he was hired Bennett Dec. 5, 2001. I seems to me that my source was right all along and the fire works should go off next week. Let's hope there're not duds.l
