is it comforting to SMU fans that we might end up with our "backup" / "last resort" / "fallback" guy as our next coach?

As opposed as I am to any Bowden for any reason, it is comforting to know that we have a former SEC coach in our back pocket just waiting for us to decide! Think about that, Steve O must be a genius, we actually have a backup that won't make people laugh.
