You're Ken Hatfield.

But wouldn't it have sounded better if you'd said "what's my name, fool?"

well, 55-78 would be by far and away the most successful of any post death penalty coach at SMU. Might even find a winning season in there somewhere

Typical of Stallion to leave this part out to bolster his argument. He ran the option at both Arkansas and Clemson. 55-17? Stallion will say he did include it under #5.

Hatfield then compiled a 55-17-1 record during a stint from 1984 to 1989 at the University of Arkansas, and was also the head football coach at Clemson University from 1990-93, compiling a 32-13-1 record. Ironically, the coach Hatfield succeeded at Clemson, Danny Ford, would eventually become the Razorbacks' coach in 1993.

Guess who preceded Hatfield at the AFA...someone who adapted a lot over his career.

Looks like a pretty successful tenure to me. I think he also beat Texas in 1994 that snapped that long losing streak. But don't worry about.

Trust fund baby, looks like we have a coach and there aint thing one you can do about it.

Hey, so Rice went 7-4 two years in a row in 96 and 97 and then 8-4 in 2001 and still didn't go to a bowl game?

I know there are a lot more bowls now than 10 years ago, but I didn't realize it was that tough back then.
