Applewhite Staying

Postby Pony^ » Fri Nov 30, 2007 11:37 pm

Alabama Offensive Coordinator Major Applewhite appears to be staying in Tuscaloosa for at least one more year. From Ian Rapoport of the Birmingham News:

Alabama offensive coordinator Major Applewhite told a key recruit that he’s not leaving for another job.

Star Jackson, a coveted quarterback from Palm Beach, Fla., told The Birmingham News that Applewhite informed him Thursday night that “he’s not leaving. He’s going to stick there. The only way he’s leaving is if he gets fired.â€

Unreliable. Coaches will tell a recruit what they want to hear

I dont think he leaves. He is still green and has a fantastic job, learning from Saban...who may leave, which changes everything!

Leaving his current job is a silly proposition. In 3-4 years when Bama is competing for a National Championship he will be able to go big time. Eventually he will take over for Mack Brown at the rate he is going.

You have got to be kidding me. Everyone in college football knows that Todd Dodge is just grooming his skills to become the next HC at UT.

you've got to be joking. Dodge? UT? yeah, he's on the fast track for that one. Dodge will be lucky to coach at the college level after this Sun Belt Experiment is over.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
