The 2007 SMU offense came within less than 100 yards of setting the new school record for most yards in a season. Also, we have gone from 202 to 229 to 325 and then to 326 points scored in a season. Please.
Gee, that got us real far! That Rice game (and others I'm sure) was lost by the offense. You can't expect your defense to win you a game when your offense is scoring as many points for the other team as they are for yours.
