Actually bowl money is split between all the schools in the conference. For example,
SMU got some money last year from all the bowl games played by CUSA teams. Whether it is gate money or BCS bowl money. It is not split but every team in the conference gets its share. How much that is for a team, let's say like Baylor in the Big 12, who knows? I don't know the total breakdown. Why do you think schools like Baylor continue to be okay with getting the crap kicked out of them every year?
