Pales in comparison to Ford-that Stadium is too small-in some ways it looks more minor league than it did about 5 years ago(scroll down on that thread to see the way it used to look). I guess its nice to have remodeled facilities but it doesn't pass the Wow factor in recruiting-doesn't compare even asthetically with any stadium in Texas as far a Big Time Football is concerned.

Set the bar low enough and it's easy to reach your goals, huh?

Is that Irving ISD's new facility?
For Middle school games of course.

what is the purposes of those walls that separate the first 10 rows-I've been there several times and I don't get it?

To keep the riff raff out.

that Stadium doesn't even look like it seats the reported 26,000-how are they ever going to get anyone to play them there. I mean they've had Arkansas, OU, OSU, Texas A&M(OK a while ago) but those games are done. Seriously, I hope it is expandable on the East side but they have the BB Arena back there. They can't expand on the North Side because they put one of those stupid Coaching Facilities in that endzone. Can't expand to the East because of Pressbox.

I especially like the artist's rendering of the "athletic complex" with the mirrored glass a mere yards off the end line...
1. Does anyone think that reflection might be a problem on sunny days...
2. Why wouldn't the artist draw in a capacity crowd? The reflection only shows the stands about 3/4 full. But then again, we included crowd shots in the youtube video from the UCF game...
