Fresno pulled their game out tonight with a field goal in the last 3 seconds to prevent going to OT with Rice. Final score 31-28.Rice looked the best I've seen them in the past five years.

Even though Hatfield runs an obsolete offense, his teams are well prepared and contedn competitively. I grow weary of those who complain about SMU admissions standards when Rice sets the academic standards for all of us and finds a way to win a few games.
