Per the link about GT:

This has been verified by multiple sources close to clough and drad. WE HAVE A NEW HC!!!!!!!

Turns out we have lured the great football GOD Lee Corso to be our new HC.

You can check it out if you want to. I even know the dollar amount. Turns out we got him for only 2.4 million a year.

Deion Sanders will replace Tenuta as DC. Tenuta is for sure gone and Deion is ready to assume command.

McNabb's momma has been bought out from her Campbells Chunky soup contract and will begin as OC.

No word yet on the press conference time but it will either be today or maybe tomorrow.

Go back to the main page and they are crowing about getting PJ. Sadly they are really pissed about it thinking that it is the death nail for their program. Funny the difference of opinions!

are we jockeying for position with Georgia Tech on which one of us gets Johnson and which one gets Nuehiesal? Normally i wouldnt presume such a thing, but Neuheisal did make public remarks of interest in SMU job.

And honestly, doesnt this amount to Tech having first choice? I just dont see how Johnson in the end can justify leaving Navy for SMU. Call it peer pressure, but the Navy folks will accept him leaving for Tech and the BCS. If he goes SMU, his legacy at Navy is tarnished and his friends, players and collegues wont understand it. Dont underestimate this coming into play at the 11th hour.

Is it interesting to anyone but me that PJ would have had to contact GT while in the company of Orsini/Ford. The referenced post I believe was made about 2:30 EST or 1:30 CST at which time he was either still in Dallas or on the Ford jet.

Would he not wait until he was no longer in enemy territory to make such a call? I can't imagine him saying "excuse me Steve while I call GT to accept the THEIR job."

which, if it happened, would be another reason why PJ would need to take Herb's "company plane" back home as opposed to GJF's plane.
