All indications were that the Rangers finally had a centerfielder.
Thought the deal was done, & oops Tori bolts for the Angels.

Hope this doesn't happen again locally. I'm afraid some of you might not be able to cope with things.

Oh come on, how can you compare SMU to the Rangers? They can never get their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choices in free agency, their organization is run completely backwards, and they're always rebuilding.

Hicks is a loser. Has no interest whatsoever in making the rangers a contender. It's a business to him. The rangers will never win with Hicks as owner. The only reason the Stars compete is that there's a salary cap.

Hey, Johan Santana's on the market. That discussion's only for teams that have a lot of buget left, like the Yankees, Mariners and Red Sox. Too bad D/FW isn't a big market.


BTW Hunter was just using the Rangers. He said in interviews that St. Louis was his second choice. We weren't even in it.

Torii Hunter is a putz. Told Hicks (the moron) he (the putz) wanted to build a camp for underprivledged children to play baseball. Has ties to the area. Didn't even let the Rangers know he was talking to the Angels. Wow!

And now we get to face Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis a few times a season.
