just to clarify, is this PJ's 2nd interview with GT? if so, i am the one who is worried. while i think we can empty the bank and pay more than GT, i do not know that we can compete with their exposure and BCS affiliation.

what makes you think we can empty the bank more than GT? i seem to have trouble seeing that while in debt $1.3M for the Crum Center and new Scoreboard in Moody

GT is paying out $4MM for Chan Gailey's departure, and if they want to keep Jon Tenuta on staff I'm sure he makes a hefty chunk as he is generally regarded as the best DC in the nation.

Word is that he has met with them previously and it didn't go well. GT may be revisiting PJ based on what has happened elsewhere

The attitude of the middies has swung dramatically in the past 48 hours. Yesterday there were early signs of concern, and now the reality of the situation - the unthinkable and impossible just days ago - has hit them square in the jaw. THEY COULD LOSE PJ...AND THEY COULD LOSE HIM TO US.
I HATE the University of Texas!
