I think that was an old sign from after the first 3 games. It actually said "non-athletic event".

Bring the BLVD to Moody....Just no alcohol.....what a crock....

My guess they are gearing this mainly towards the students, of which most are underage anyway, and that they do not want to dedicate any resources to ensuring no underage drinking is taking place.....

Still though, would have been nice to have had a beer or three before the game...without having to sneak it in.
