If he's decided (and it sounds like he has) then he has surely notified GT and SMU and possibly Duke if they made a formal offer. If that's the case, the cat will be out of the bag before long and probably first from the losing side.

I don't get the pessimism about this news. It's consistent with the reports that GT couldn't match our offer. They have a meeting, he puts out the offer and GT says they can't match, PJ goes back to Annapolis with news that he's coming here. What am I missing?

You might be right...that post was pretty bad. And way to long...I honestly skipped it back then and skipped it this time as well.
