It is all part of the Evil Aggie Conspiracy.

Ever since we broke Kubiak's leg SMU has been on a downward spiral.

PB was just the latest agent used by a$m to ruin SMU.

Next we will hire Coach Dennis, and he is still on the Aggie payroll.

I'll be in Savannah in a couple of weeks. I'll see what I can do for you guys.

I know he's not a big name, but why not the Appalachain State head coach, he's won back to back 1-AA titles and looks to be heading to a third.

(Ok, he probably wouldn't go, not because of anything you guys would or wouldn't do, but because he's in his 60s and treated like a King at App. State and turned down other opportunities))

What are the thoughts of looking to the 1-AA ranks for a coach? I know it wouldn't be the splashy hire most of you seem to desire, but you could probably get on on the cheap and he could restore the program? I also noticed there's hesitance to hire a coordinator? Mind me asking why that is?

He actually was an Assistant at SMU under Hayden Fry. Doubt if he would be considered. He's at the level he should be. But he can get a team ready to play. He was at Tech when they almost ruined our undefeated season with a 27-27 tie before SMU pulled off the Miracle on 4th Street.

Jerry Moore coached Sherwood Blount when Sherwood played at SMU. I talked to Blount the other day, he spoke to Moore after the big upset against Michigan. According to Blount, the secret to Appalachian State is speed. Moore gets guys with flat out speed on both sides of the ball. That way nobody can accuse Moore of paying the players, they are just fast. Simple as that. I guess it's true what they say, "Speed really does kill."
