No! Got a problem with the truth plus a little profanity. It means the same thing if I say it like this. We need a coach who will stay and build a program. This is a long term project. If we get a coach that can have a winning season his first year and make the rest of the coaching world believe he is the next coming I will never post on this site again. This is a rebuilding project that will take at least 3-5 years. Graham has ants in his pants just because he won at Tulsa. Don't let that [deleted] fool you. It hasn't fooled the rest of the coaching world.

Prepare for more UH's RnS beat downs. (95-21)

You could be right, but at least our cheerleaders are better looking than you and the rest of your cheer squad.

That means we should support our Mustangs more loudly, not whimper away quietly. Scream loud enough so Paw Pardee can't communicate with his players and coaches, and inspire our guys to kick THEIR asses.

Lets face it we are in trouble. SO had a head start on everyone else and he can't find anyone to take the job. He is going to have to throw a lot more money at the position and promise someone a half interest in one of Ray Hunt's oil companies to get them to take the job. As I have said before, this head coaching job is a dead end. Nobody wants it. If I was a 40 yr old assistant/coordinator and was highly thought of in the fraternity I wouldn't come here unless I wanted to end my career.

You are correct. It is a unique situation that will take a unique type of coach. Jeff Bower is my man at this point unless UH does not hire Haywood. Bower won at Southern Miss. 10 bowls out of 11 or so years of coaching. He is a long term type of guy with quality HC experience. His only fault is being an SMU assistant during the DP days.

Haywood would be a good fit for UH. He is from Houston, and has recruited Texas heavily while at UT, LSU, and Neutered Dame. While Charlie W handles most of the "offensive" plays at ND, Mike had considerable input as the OC.
Mike was interested in our opening in November and spoke with SO. Not wanting a coordinator, he appears to have been ruled out fairly early.

We may see some backtracking pretty soon. The HC available are thin at this point. Obviously the coaches without jobs (Bowden, Barnett) are not on the radar, else they would have been hired by now.
