Why is his name not coming up much for vacancies? I know we could not get him, but that guy can coach.

Same reason Pat Hill is still at Fresno State. He can get any player into his school regardless of grades or criminal record.

i was recruited by USF and Coach Leavitt. he turned down Alabama and K State over the past few years, meaning he would not leave a Big East power for a C-USA cellar dweller. he loves it in Tampa, FL

Nobody is saying he would come here. The question was why his name was not coming up more in other school searches. READ the posts before trying to get your post count up!

i was making the point that it was pointless to even talk to him. he hasnt been considered for bigger jobs because they know he wont leave now that USF is a nationally known program, sorry i didnt read all the way. and don't talk to me about post count. im here because i take an interest in SMU athletics, not to impress people
