Our latest edition of the ever-zany Mustang Musings finds the associate AD ignoring the coaching search and joking about Mustang fans having to resort to tracking flights. Have a read...

Happy Holidays! This is a busy time for most and, for me personally, 2008 will start off with a bang. I am traveling a lot and will share the details with all of you so you don’t have to track these flights on-line. {Flight-A-Ware Software Logo}

not his job to be focusing on the coaching search. the associate AD who would be involved with that is Mike Vaught. it even says it by Jeff's name that he's the AAD for Compliance and Student Services.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Actually I read it as someone in the office who is not in the know at all about the coaching search light-heartedly joking with the part of the fan base that actually gives a darn. Fact is, SMU is the only school with a sports blog that is updated fairly often, and it's not always going to be Orsini calming the masses.

Evey one's agitated at the lack of a football coach, but this seems like looking to be angry at something that just isn't there.

Why even put that piece of garbage on there? Does anyone give a [deleted] about whatever the hell he wrote? Why not give us a little more info on what the hell is going on in that bizarro-world of an athletic department? Maybe he doesn't know anything. Have someone write a blog that does, though. This is how your AD treats its supporters! :evil:

First, we need a contest of our own...Guess Big O's Pony Fans name!

Second, abosutely NO MENTION of a coach...Steve-O why dont you just call all of us to come down to Moody and line up for a kick in the groin.

Third...Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah and Kwanza and Ramadan to all other PFers.

I care about what was written. I'm glad that compliance trivia is getting changed at bball games. There's more going on in athletics than a coaching search. I understand wanting some kind of update, but we're not going to get that from anybody but Steve-O and we're not going to get that until a press conference is announced. Chill!

I'm glad that they listened to us, paid attention to this board, and are changing the program for the better. The admin apparently went to the sponsor, who is giving a lot of $$$, and worked out a deal to meet the fans' desires.

At least as to the compliance trivia.

I know compliance trivia likely isn't a huge deal to work out.

But going to one of your clients and asking them to make a change is.

I say thanks to the associate AD for listening to us and for taking positive steps to make the game-day presentation better.

It's not perfect, but I appreciate folks who listen.
