I'm sure that we got payment. I don't believe that this is the first time it has happened. I know the A&M band used our fields when they were in the Cotton Bowl several years back.
"He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"
"You tell 'em I'm coming... and hell's coming with me!"
Lots of teams have used SMU's facilities before Cotton Bowl games. I remember specifically Colorado doing it. I believe that Kansas State and Texas did also. It has been done almost every year. And I'm sure that we receive something for it.
Yep. Auburn used it last year, I believe.
"I don't know how they plan to win coach. I haven't seen 'em practice the swinging gate once!"
THey ahve been using SMU for years. Oregon used it back when Oregon was in the Cotton Bowl and that was back in 1996
And wallow in the fact that they knew more about football than he ever forgot. Derail the Frogs!
and Alabama when they played Tech. I think they painted a checkerboard endzone in SMU's practice field when Tenn practiced there, as well.
