This is not meant to spark any controversy whatsoever, but there was one view of the play I only saw replayed one time and that was from the opposite angle of the picture posted above. As the ball bounced toward the left hand of Chris, it took a definite "turn" toward the center of the field. When it bounced, it then bounced back toward the sideline. I totally agree that the movement seen from that angle was not visible from the primary replay they continued to show, but when I saw the one time shot from the reverse angle, I had no doubt the ball had been touched.
Regardless, I find it amusing that the official is just about the only person in the photo that is not on the field of play.

whether he touched it or not about 3-4 Texas officials probably should have been flagged for being on the field of play including a Texas Coach. Too many men on the field-ineligible participant. Its one thing to be on the chalk-another thing to have a Coach 5 yards on the field during a "live play".

Sorry dude. Time to face the music. To the tune of 52-34. And it wasn't that close. Texas dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and if not for a gimme touchdown by the refs, this thing could have gotten real ugly real early. Congrats to the Sun Devils on a great season, but they just didn't have the athletes to match up with the Horns.
Hats off to UT. Good pick. This makes me wonder about the rest of the PAC 10, certainly should encourage the Big XII. Would sure be great to see SMU back in the mix. Maybe in a couple of yr.s. With a little luck, next yr. I hope we will see the direction SMU is headed in the next week or so. Would be ecstatic to see SMU beat either ASU or UT.

UT has to be willing to play us before we can even dream of beating them or even have a chance of actually doing it. They will play Rice, but want nothing to do with us.

UT may never play SMU again, SMU may play ASU again. I suspect the UT thing goes back to the 80's and thier complicity in the DP. Wouldn't want to see them play until SMU has a realistic chance of pounding them into the ground. Never say never.

Yet TCU took down OU and USC not to mention about 10 other BCS schools in recent years. WHO THE HECK WAS THAT COACH WHO BUILT THAT PROGRAM? Get rid of the pinheads and let's see what happens. Maybe not UT because they have no reason to play us-with the Texas/OU game. I thought our Goal was Top 25-start running a Top 25 program and let's see what happens.

i say start with a winning program and you'll get where you want to go. 39 teams are not ranked in the Top 25 yet are headed to bowls this year. I think that's the place to start.
