June Jones..sort of a Tom Rossley, Jr.?..Mouse Davis-ish, Run and Gun, makes "statistical stars" out of players, exciting, NFL exp., etc., etc....how is June Jones different from Tom?
....he won at Hawaii, really no where else...curious, what has been Hawaii's road record under JJ, and what top 25 W's has he had?
an A? Reminds me now of the "standing O"..every little kiddies program, high school band concert, 2 + 2 =5 age we live in, the standing O has lost it's pizzaz..everybody gets an standing o now, everybody gets an A....
June Jones has won at Hawaii, I WILL give him that......
Just asking a question, BR (Mr. I am just now becoming an SMU bball fan.....jeeezz)...besides Hawaii, what else has he done? How successful has he been at his other stops (as O coord., Q backs coach)...how hard / easy is the Hawaii gig? Just asking..why is this a pissy old man Q?
Home Run? Let's give him a standing O!!! But what til the little snow angelsa leave the stage, the crowd is still on their collective feet for that....I give it a weak B.
Hahahahahaha...I actually agree in principle that Hawaii and SMU are apples and oranges and that Jones may not have the same type of success based on the way he recruits. And I also think he has a bit of a sleeze factor. You just always act like someone just kicked you out of bed after an hour of sleep. Oh, and I said I am becoming interested in SMU bball once again. There are others on this board, such as Stallion, who are still not interested in SMU bball. Geaux MUSTANGS! Geaux Tigers!
Fair enough..just my "board persona" btw, actually a very nice guy...
June Jones is not what we need now, let's get Fran in here, a guy who has WON EVERYWHERE he has been, including Pitt Sate, for crying out loud...hang in there with the BR traffic, Met a bunch of LA State Police at the Rendevous recently, GREAT guys, talked about how much BR has changed...
Since Hawaii is 12 and 0, I would say they won all their road games. As far as top 25 teams, this year Hawaii beat No. 17 Boise State.
