I have been to Mooyah several times. I reviewed it in this thread, in fact. It is pretty good. Clearly built on the In-N-Out Burger chain philosophy. Limited menu: Just burgers, shakes and fries; nothing frozen; hand cut fries. You do have more burger options than In-N-Out Burger. The meat is ok; the bun is excellent. Fries above-average. Quality grilled cheese sandwich for the kids.

Ok I didnt feel like reading through 60 pages of thread to see if it was ok to offer my opinion so I apologize if anyone mentioned these places. But in my opinion these are some of the best:

-Chips
-Who's Who
-Jake's
-The Loon

And for as many times as I've been to good ole Milo'sive never had a burger, need to try one next time!

Anyone ever try the mini-burgers that are served as an appetizer at the Old Monk? Had those the other night before I got drunk (and again well after I was drunk), and they were FANTASTIC. Both times.

I'll second that. But in all fairness, i don't put sliders in the same category as burgers. sliders can be great, but the fact is that they're just a "small plate" fad.

Made my maiden voyage to the "new" version of Goff's. I know, it's been there for a while now, but .... disappointing, really. Flavor was OK, but not great, and the burger was too greasy and too small (I know, I'm a pig). Anyone else have this experience? Or did I just get ripped off?

That's the other thing that surprised me - a burger and onion rings were $9!
Paying for the address more than the food, or so it seemed to me.

Best burger, hands down, was in New Orleans at a place called Port of Call.

Second best burger on the road was at the East Carolina game at a place called Cubbies. It was located downtown, right off the main campus.

Locally, it's hard to be the burgers at the Agry Dog in Deep Ellum.
