Anybody surprised? Anybody??? Cemone? Anyone?...Moving right along, I noticed that Phillips was 10-19. Not bad. Was that Rodnick? Anybody? David? Anyone???...Another topic. McMurtray kicked 2 FGs. Good or bad? Anyone? Buffy? Anyone???...KK had 90 something yards. Is he related to PK? Anyone? Megan? Anyone???

I have to say me. I honestly thought we had a chance. I honestly thought things would be diffent this week. Poor pitiful me. :no:

I hate to say it, but i don't see enough speed and depth on this defense to be able to contain Rice's option and we know our offense is anemic. I don't want to even think about that TCU game. I am mentally prepared for 0-12. Bball starts soon, right?

actually if you look at our defensive strengths and Rice's strength's SMU matches up better with Rice than just about anyone else we play at least on the defensive side.. I apologize for being so positive but we might have at least a shot at Rice.

Don't apologize, Stallion - a little positive commentary is needed now more than ever. And you're right - I think we do have a shot. We have to play better, of course, but part of playing bad is a result of playing a good team - remember, LaTech has had tutorial sessions with teams like Miami, and won AT Michigan State. It's not like we got lit up by a bad team today.

Hang in there Joyous - your optimism is not pitiful, it's commendable. Keep it up!
