Hope June Jones brings JERRY GLANVILLE like he did at Hawaii

Postby gambino87 » Sun Jan 06, 2008 2:57 am

Besides being a good Denfensive Cordinator, I think Jerry Glanville would be a great recruiter......Great move Orsini! Love, June Jones! So glad Kragthorpe, Bill Parcells , and Paul Johnson, didn't work out. GO MUSTANGS!

Hawaii had a great defense last year in their bowl win against Arizona State when Glanville was DC at Hawaii. Didn't Glanville become the Head Coach at Portland State this year in Oregon ? Glanville calls June Jones the best coach in America....

Yes, Jerry went there and so did Mouse Davis, who is coaching the offense there. Considering they've only been there one year, it would be unlikely they'd leave so soon.

Orsini probably wouldn't let him leave tickets for Elvis at Will Call.

Your reasoning is foolish. They are not yet entrenched, and the possibility of more yen can move even the greatest of mountains.

Glanville was hated by the Houston media during his tenure with the Oilers. Maybe that's why I liked him so much. He would bring more credibility plus alot of fun to the program if he came along...

I want the current Hawaii DC that was the former Tech DC. He has a reputation as a top notch recruiter.
Back off Warchild seriously.

if so, I'd like to see some Glanville soundbytes from the sideline like the infamous "this is the NFL which stands for Not For Long..."

I vote for "listen this is Conference USA which stands for u s*ck [deleted]"

The reasoning is not foolish when you consider that Glanville is the HC there and Mouse, as the OC, has returned home, to the school where the Run & Shoot first began. I didn't say it was impossible, just unlikely, as both Glanville and Davis love the school, the university and the area as well as having deep ties to it. Oh, and their AD is on the same page...
