That's a tall order after losing Colt and 2 other underclassmen stars to the NFL draft.

If SMU wants to get to the top again, they need to stop with the NTS, Sam Houston, Ark St. and put A&M, OU, UT (they will refuse) Ark, ASU on the future schedule non conference games.

You must crawl before you walk. It's best to have a year or two of success before you beef up your schedule too much.

TCU didn't start playing 2+ Big 12 schools each season when Fran first took over. They waited until they had sustained success. You can put your team in over their head too soon. I like our non conference schedule right now.

It does SMU no good to schedule 3-4 BCS teams and start the season off 0-4(at best 1-4) like we did when we played Tech, OSU, Baylor,TCU or A&M in one season.

Ugh, Ford Stadium overrun with Aggies? Surely we'll move this game to the updated Cotton Bowl or over to Jerryland and make some money off of it, right?

Let's hope for Jerryworld. Less of a drive for us, and less chance of getting shot.

Screw Arlington. It's not our fault you live in the wrong town.

I was kidding, but whatever. I still think it is hilarious that Dallas politicians were too stupid to get the deal done for the Cowboys to actually play in Dallas.

Once the cotton bowl is updated, if they can get everything done that they want, it'll actually not be a complete dump anymore. I wouldn't have a problem with the game there, provided the national guard watches the parking lot.

Trust me, there'll be a lot more Aggies there if we do it at the Cotton Bowl or Jerryland. there's nothing wrong with turning people away from a sporting event. Standing room only! Put em on the lawn-- aTM at Ford in 2012!

Couldn't agree more. Apparently, if we can sign a coach for $2mm a year, SMU doesn't need the money that badly that we would have to move a game to a larger venue for the payday. Not to mention that if I wanted to see a game with 5000 SMU fans and 75000 A&M fans, I'd have gone to the SMU game at College Station a couple years ago. Oh wait, I did do that and it sucked!

Just jack up the ticket prices for that one game and make them pay up to see their beloved Ags in our backyard.

totally agree - we play that baby in our house.

I like a weakish schedule for two years and then slowly turn it up a bit.

Or fire bomb everything for a mile around the stadium.
