Wasn't it the Great Ralph that suggested we all chip in $1000 to get a big time new coach. Sounds like Orsini did just that. Glad he didn't ask me - I don't have $20,000 lying around.

Kinda like they do those zoo animals - Adopt-a-coach. If you contribute enough, they come to your kid's birthday party. But everyone gets a signed picture, biography and one of those Christmas letters where they talk about what's happened in the last year.

I sure hope SMU doesn't hire June Jones, taking all these booster-bucks, and then do nothing else to help us win. Let's hope the days of SMU's lies and false-promises are over.

I hear you, but I doubt Jones would let that happen, since he's used to "recruiting his best players out of jail," and he doesn't really need a job right now anyway. I could be wrong of course as always, but I think we will see some positive concessions after all is said and done.

I thought I was excited to see news of his resignation on ESPNews last night - this definitely tops that!

I really hope this happens. However, I won't believe until about a week after the press conference. Jones to SMU would be a huge hire.
