Husker/Stallion

That is all I can think of, too. Changing transfer policies would cross the desk of deans & administrators in EVERY department. But that is too bad, it is time for GT to say this is how it is going to be and those who don't like it can leave. It still wont make a difference as the overall quality of the students can be improved by making the concessions necessary to win.

I cannot express the magnitude of this opportunity. Please please please dont let this fall through.

Don't worry, and stop all the overreacting, speculating, and bomb throwing.

Tomorrow will be an exceptional day.

If SMU announces EITHER Jones or Fran tomorrow - you are correct!

Again, Fran could have salvaged some recruits last month. Jones is the only excuse to have waited this long and if balks this thing is a disaster for the football program. If Turner and the trustees muck this up, look for Orsini to bail next.

Actually, Fran is in BETTER position than Jones to put together a staff that is in contact with plenty of Texas kids...and may be able to promise them immediate playing time. I have no problem whatsoever with it being Fran...and look forward to what will be a really fun crosstown rivalry with the purple menace.

He was at the beginning of December too, if we have to fall back on him now this is disastrous.

And as far as salvaging recruiting, last time I checked commitments were verbal only as of now...would you rather have a full recruiting season of PB or Jones/Fran for a month? If we lose JJ and end up with Fran (even if we could have had Fran 2 months ago) it was still worth it
