Ask yourself these two questions...how many transfers did he aggressively go after and how many players did he have that didn't make the academic grade during his tenure?

I didn't play sports at SMU but transferred in from UT Austin after my Sophomore year. My hours didn't transfer and I basically became a freshman again. It can be done but you will lose all of your work from another university

Depends on the classes. And they won't just give credit easily. My husband had to fight for a few of his transfer hours. It's still much more of a pain than it should be.

You are right. Bennett got who he wanted. And I get the salary I want. I asked for a whole lot more but they said no. They said take it or leave it. I took it. Bennett got whomever he wanted because he was told who he could not recruit. He knew who he could not get through the guidelines so he did not try. Now wiseup, stop the spin, and go away. Oh, and if you have any contacts with the athletic department, which I doubt, please let them know we are aware of how they spin the recruiting talk and all we ask is for the opportunity to recruit the same players as our competition. I have been involved with SMU since 1968 and I have witnessed many recruiting changes over the years. We are not on an even field at this time. Hopefully that is changing as we speak.

The FACTS you MORON is that JJ and PB came from teams that had a combined 90+ transfers.

And that is NOT the 80's or the 90's...but December of 2001 and January of 2008!!!
