I have not seen a figure
for attendance at the Rice game. Could not have been good.
Re: I have not seen a figure
I think I read somewhere that it was around 11,000 - which must have included all those HS bands.

Hard to believe that Ford was 1/3 full, HS bands and youth fellowship or no. Nice to honor Fry although it is hard to believe that they had the nerve to invite hime, and he the generosity to attend.
As someone else has written, it was nice to see Cunningham's number called. Wish there could have been more of that this season.
Was it Eric Neal's mom that won a sort of door prize at half time?
A totally unnecessary thing -as others have also written - were the juvenile announcers.

I don't have much use for the guys I sometimes listen to on the ticket, but I went to the Rice game and the stadium announcers included kids. Elementary school pupils. I hope they were the children of BIG donors or something.
Even in that case, its another example of the way
loyal SMU fans have been dissed: new "fight" song, new "mascot", talk of replacing Peruna, etc.
