I was shocked with the comments Rhyner and Corby made yesterday afternoon. Very positive.

I think Ryhner expressed a sentiment that many "old timers" may have.

He grew up in a day when SMU was all there was. But hasn't done anything since (I guess that's a long time). There is a longing for SMU to do well, and he's going to be more interested, and positive, about the program because of this hire.

If the announcement were really major, would they make it on Norm's show? It seems every other major announcement was on Dunham and Miller.

Nah, probably it is a misdirection. I doubt they would announce Hammer's official departure during Norm's show. It's probably announcing some special guest for Ticketstock in February..............
