Nice to see an aggressive Athletic Department. How many have already received calls about season ticket renewals? Ordered my four this morning.

Greetings!

As you are aware, SMU has made a great hire in new Head Coach June Jones. It is an exciting time here on the Hilltop and we are very excited for the upcoming football season.

The 2008 Season Ticket renewal window is officially open. It will run through April 30th and you will be receiving some renewal literature in the mail within a couple of weeks. However, should you want to take care of business now and secure your seats, or if you have any inquiries, do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest!

I look forward to hearing from you!

GO MUSTANGS!

I decided to go ahead and call the ticket office today because I want to go from 2 tickets to 4 for next season. They won't be able to do that for me until sometime next week, which is no big deal.

If you are a current season ticketholder, and don't plan to make changes, it doesn't sound like there is a need for you to rush to call in. I assume the reason they are calling current STH is so they can know what is available for new STH, and so they accomodate folks like me who want change the number of tickets they have, and/or possibly move sections.

Just to give everyone an idea of the ticket price I was quoted, I am in section 106, and my tickets will be $150 each (which includes a $30 donation to the Mustang Club). That's actually about the same price as last year, if I am not mistaken. I am in Dedman parking (right by Ford & Westcott) and that is $150 as well, which is about $50 more than last year.

The only sections that he said would be more than the $150/seat would be 104 & 204, which are right on the 50 yard line.

Gotta say that I think they are right on the money with their pricing. Let's get the whole home side full of STH, and start working on the endzone and visitors side, too! Go Ponies!

Parking spot on the boulevard, which comes with the adjacent piece of dirt for tailgating.

Actually that is what I thought...about 100 bucks per game. Probably still too steep but really not bad if you split it with a bunch of people
