Rumblings of UT Transfer...

Rumor on Orangebloods (UT Rivals site) that redshirt freshman QB G.J. Kinne may transfer to SFA. Kinne was originally a Baylor commit, but switched to Texas late in the game. He was a Texas 100 guy who threw 47 TD's and 1 INT his senior year (WOW!). Might be worth a look if he decides to leave the Horns.

Why is he transferring? If it's because he doesn't think he'll see playing time, he should have thought of that beforehand. Did he not realize that Colt McCoy had 3 year's of eligibility left?

Kinne's old man was the coach at Canton HS who got shot by that whack-job parent. He was hired by Baylor. I wonder if dad maybe told him to go to Texas b/c he knew the writing was on the wall at Baylor at the time? I dunno.

Kinne would be a huge pickup and with CHiles looking like he will remain as the 2nd option to Colt...GJ won't sniff the field the entire time he is at UT.

Problem is that he RS last year so gonna cost him a year of eligibility unless he drops a class...probably why SFA looks good to him
