Season ticket question

Postby Terry Webster » Sat Jan 12, 2008 7:53 pm

I live away from the area and will probably only be in Dallas for one game this year. I was thinking about buying season tickets. Would that be better than just giving the money to the Mustang Club? I want to support as best I can. Any wisdom?

Honestly, I would email Steve-O and ask. I am pretty sure he would respond with which he would prefer.

If you just donate to the MC, you can buy cheap individual tickets for specific games.

Or you can buy the season tickets, and the Mustang Club will give them away. If you let the MC know when you can't make it, they will go to your seats and welcome the guest and make sure they have a good time. That's another new thing the mob boss started last season.

Do season tickets factor any way into the attendance count?

Suggestion: Buy the season tickets. Go to the games you can attend and donate the other tickets back to the school so they can resell them. Get a letter of donation from the school so you can deduct the face value of the donated tickets on your tax return. Going this route accomplishes two things. You get the tax write off and the school can get paid twice for the same ticket.

Buy the season tickets and donate to the jtstang ticket fund, except for the game that you use. Make sure that they are on the 50.
