In keeping with the general feel-good factor round these parts I will refrain from griping too much but I was wondering if anyone has heard when new season tickets will be available.
The guy from the ticket office at the Press Conference said they were on sale then. Then I went in a few days later to buy them and was told to wait until the 15th. On the 15th I was told that they would probably not be on sale until next week at the earliest.
I don't mind waiting but I don't understnad why they don't have a schedule in place. They could be losing out on people who want to buy season tickets NOW!

they're waiting on people to renew. existing ticket holders have first priority on upgrades too.
hold your horses.

that and we've never had a full time dedicated ticket office until this year, they're still working through these type things.

I got the invoice for renewing my current seats. I have ask for an "upgrade" and have made the request for specific seats. If those seats are not picked up by the option holder, I will get them and pay the difference - the ticket office rep said that would be determined by May 1. They have discontinued the free letterman season ticket - so I will be paying for an additional seat.

not with full time employees. there may have been an office, but i'm fairly certain it was staffed with part timers

yeah, actual sales are something new. hasn't it just been renewals for the last 10 years?

I remember a weekday visit to the ticket window at Ford Stadium (about 3 years ago) and the one person who "assisted" me had on a maroon Texas A&M t-shirt and a Houston Texans cap. Guess that SMU gear really is hard to find! I think former ticket office personnel were part-timers, between jobs, or homeless considered right-for-the-job by AD Copeland.

I'm increasing my seats from 2 to 4, and I'm trying to move my seats (probably just to anything open at this point one section closer to the 50). The ticket office told me today that they could help me next week. Didn't know if this info would be helpful or not.
But like Dutch said, they are working on current STH now. I think they will be getting to new sales after they have tried to contact all current STH at least once.

If you currently have season tickets and are not seeking to move your seats or add more seats, you have until April 30 to renew. Renewal packages will go out in the next few weeks. This is what I was told by my ticket rep.
