I used the AP, UPI, ESPN, and BCS final rankings only. If there was a split among them, it was noted. I disregarded the others.

Oh dear dog reversed.

Awesome... what's the anagram site again?

Hey, plugging you (TF) in there gets two decent ones:

Dam Filths
Shaft Mild

Either of them fit? TWSS

By my count, there are 9:

1. Notre Dame (1973-AP, 1977, 1988)
2. Oklahoma (1974, 1975, 1985, 2000)
3. USC (1972, 1974, 1978-UPI, 2003-AP, 2004)
4. Alabama (1973-UPI, 1978-AP, 1979, 1992)
5. Miami (1983, 1987, 1989, 1991-AP, 2001)
6. Nebraska (1970-AP, 1971, 1994, 1995, 1997-ESPN)
7. LSU (2003-BCS, 2007)
8. Penn State (1982, 1986)
9. Florida State (1993, 1999)

Well, the words 'The University of Texas' implies that it is the only university in Texas of importance. In looking at one of my teaching guides for English I find that 'the' is used to emphasize that someone or something is important or famous. Obviously, not so. While you can hate all you want I have no respect for the t-sips. They are arrogant and have nothing to be arrogant about. They have one of the two highest paid college teams in Texas (tje other is the f-aggies). It pisses me off that our tax money is paying for this arrogance. If you don't mind your tax money being used in that manner then I guess you are the 'dumb one'.
