Slow day. I was thinking of that place today. How did THAT stay in business so many years? I miss that place.

The old lady was nice although her son was creepy. Burgers were pretty tasty.

Rose's Hamburgers was located on Greenville Ave. near Yale Blvd....not sure of the exact address, though.

Still amazing that a place with no sign, that looks like a abandoned building, and required you to walk around back past a dog chained to a pole to even find the entrance had such great business. I credit to the great burger they cooked up.

rose's was great. it was fun house construction w/ 6.5-8' ceilings. she cooked on a hot plate. but it was the best burger around.

and yes, her son was VERY creepy. when she died, the establishment died with her.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I used to go to a place like that until I noticed that it was a different dog chained up each day. I quit going.

Rose's was in the alley behind Milo's. It was only open from 12:00 - 2:00, Monday through Friday and was cash only. Rose had been serving burgers there for about 40 years. You had to duck to get in & there was a dog chained up outside, but you'd see guys in suits in there as well.
