You're welcome to stop by anytime for food and beverage. PM me for directions to our spot on the south end of the 'vard.

I'm excited to see Evan on the field and see what he can do.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

ProudMama

Yes many SMU players parents and families walk the SMU "BLVD Tailagte" before games. Alot of parents wear their son's jersey so they are easy to spot. It is a great atmosphere and you will immediately feel welcome. The BLVD is fun for the whole family, kids, parents, grandparents, and yes teenagers! Please stop by our tent for a free burger/brat and a cold beverage of your choice.

Here are some pics from the BLVD: One of the best tailgates in the country!

Great representation of the Party on the Blvd Special Delivery. It's just too bad we only get to experience that 6 times a year!

The Mustang Football Families usually have a spot of their own at the southern most end of the Blvd. But, families are welcomed at all tailgate spots. We would love to meet you!

Special_Delivery_Smu_Fans...It isn't SMU Blvd...it is Bishop Blvd. Of course on game day, we just call it "The 'Vard".

PK: Just to explain .

Sorry it's just habit and maybe semantics. We are always in the "sales mode" concerning SMU Football. We are passionate about helping introduce new people to the SMU BLVD experience and to SMU football games. Anything we can do to help put more people in the seats. So when we speak to people about coming out to a football game and enjoying the experience of an SMU gameday we always say come out to the "SMU BLVD TAILGATE" just so they we know what we are talking about. If we say come out the the "Vard" they are like "uh?". Believe me we know the BLVD is on Bishop! GO MUSTANGS!

guess it could be confusing to someone since old Yale Blvd west of central is now SMU Blvd. But we know what you mean :)

Wait I've been tailgating on SMU Blvd for the last few years. No wonder it seemed so dead.

That was my concern. That people new to the scene would be looking for SMU Blvd and wind up on the other side of campus. Putting the quotation marks on Blvd. helps, but you still need to let newbies know it is Bishop Blvd. we are talking about when we refer to the SMU "Blvd." tailgate site.

I think we've done a rather outstanding job of attracting
new fans to the SMU BLVD, none of them got lost, there
hasn't been a lot of confusion, it really has not been a
problem. So PK we'll just respectfully "agree to disagree".

If you show up on Saturday for a home football game, even if you're a newbie, and you can't find the 'vard, you must be drunk already. Which may make finding the 'vard moot anyway.

Are there any pictures from the Boulevard pre-Tech game? Wow, was the Boulevard ever rocking that day.
