None of the BLVD spot holders are free loaders. When you factor in season tickets, mandatory Mustang Club donation, and now increased parking, you're talking more than $2000 for four tickets to see a 1-11 team. This is sports. Performance should drive prices, not the other way around.

It's just sad because there will be a level at which the longtime loyal hardworking fans will be priced out of the game altogether. Where does it end? $1000 a season? $5000 a season?

What they fail to realize is that some people have to work for a living. Not everyone is a Hunt, Ford, Loyd or Dedman. Oh well, maybe I'll win the lottery some day so I don't have to worry about it.

Give me a break with this longtime hardworking fans being priced out of the game. SMU athletics is the cheapest entertainment in the Metroplex. I've had Valentine's dinners that cost more than two football season tickets. Unless you are sitting in your boulevard space by yourself, you should be able to have your buddies pitch in to reserve the spot. If that does not work than just stroll around the Boulevard and enjoy it without paying anything. If you need some perspective on the entertainment dollar in sports, sit in the lower bowl for a Mavs or Stars game, or better yet sit through the presentation at the new Jerry World. For the price of one ticket, parking and food to one game you can take your family to a full season of SMU football. If you want to complain that is your right, and it is also your right to not pay the premium. My bet is that there are plenty of people on the wait list that hope you do the latter.

I think we've done a rather outstanding job of attracting new
fans to the SMU BLVD, not caused a lot of confusion, and
it really has not been a problem. So PK we'll just
"agree to disgaree". GO MUSTANGS!

Special D, with a setup like that, you can call the Boulevard whatever the heck you want to brother!

I'm cool with that. I'm not suggesting you change out your tent or anything like that. Hell, it's refered to as just "The Boulevard" on smumustangs.com. So I guess any one can call it whatever they want. I just think that out of towners coming in for the first time ought to be told that the actual location is Bishop Blvd. That's all I'm saying.

True but
It is in fact the SMU BLVD.
It isn't the TCU BLVD.
It isn't the Baylor BLVD.
It isn't the Ole Miss BLVD.
It's the SMU BLVD.

True, if someone from out of town was asking for directions
they should be given the correct address.

Hey PK just curious what is your BLVD space number?

expony18 you are certainly invited to show up for a beer & brat when the June Jones era begins next season.

Hope to see you there.

Unfortunately, I don't have one. I am not at that compensation level in life where I can afford one...even when it was "less expensive."

re: i would love to discuss the stallion model

I heard they are in negotiations with Stallion to have
a June Jones book signing at their booth, but it will be Stallion
signing the book followed by Stallion giving a seminar on
"how to hire a college football coach".
