If you can remember your favorite tailgating moment you weren't doing it right.

I wish I could say that I remembered all of the BLVD days. So many beers over so many years have blurred some of the details. But here are my favorites:

Halloween 2006: Got there at 9am on a Tuesday. First beer cracked at 9:01. As DM said, the tailgate was set up in time for The Price Is Right (the showcase was furniture and a spa). We carved pumpkins, drank beers and decorated the area. The weather was great. About lunchtime, the coeds started appearing in various states of dress. Then we won. What a great vacation day. In fact, I had to take the next day as well for recovery.

9.2.2000: Opening Day of Ford. Nobody knew what the heck we were doing. We just knew it was going to be HOT. We had no tent, no TV, no generator. What we did have was a cooler full of beer and a kiddie pool filled with ice water. After spending the day with the toosies in the pool, we watched as the Ponz beat Kansas.

2005 vs TCU: After spending the previous two weeks working 20 hours a day on Katrina restorations, gameday was a welcome respite. We got there early and partied hard. A week earlier, we had lost a squeaker to Baylor. The froggies had just knocked off the fraud that was oklahoma. They were coming in thinking they'd run us out of the stadium. On my 9th or so beer, I stated that if we beat TCU I'd jump in the fountain after the game and got about 10 other folks to agree with me. Well, we all know what happened. When we got back to the tailgate for a victory toast, I was reminded of my statement. So we all marched up to Dallas Hall, jumped in the fountain and sang Varsity. That was a great day.

"Midnight tailgates" were some of the best pre-game parties during the 2005 season. Then waking up after 4 hours of sleep and starting Champagne Brunch before heading back out to the Blvd. to keep it going before game time. It was a sad day when SMU decided to ruin tailgating for undergrads.
GO MUSTANGS!

FIGHT ON!

I would say your use of the English language might be more funnier.
