And I don't do Houston. Actually, it is perhaps the only city in America that I just can not stand. With apologies to the Houston Chamber of Commerce, and those of you from the area, Houston is not my cup of tea.
The lanes down there are too narrow for my truck
Must have been awhile since you were down there, Diamond M. I-45 (North Fwy.) is now 6 lanes from Conroe to downtown Houston (northbound & southbound) and Interstate 10 (Katy Fwy.) is 6 lanes from Loop 610 to Katy (westbound & eastbound).
So it's 6 narrow lanes now?
Guess it depends on your definition of 'narrow'. The lanes are wider than the ones on Central Expressway in Dallas.
Hmm, The last time I drove in Houston (it has been a while) the lanes were crap. I don't have a problem with 75, I'm all-american at driving it. I drive it 5 days a week from class to work.
Sir, shooting-star, sir. Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.

Oh, I could so get this thread deleted right now...but I won't.
Barring any improbabilities, I will be in Houston for the game.

I think it'll be fun. Great to have some of those old, natural rivalries back and not have to drive two hours for a district game anymore. Personally I can't wait for that Texas High game. Going to be a great one.

Remember, last time we were at Rice we actually may have had more fans at the game than Rice.

There should be a lot of Bo Levi Mitchell fans from the Katy area in the stands on Aug. 29th!
