First day in pads?

When is the first day for the guys to go full pads? If they have already suited up, i apologize for my ignorance, but I am just itching to see some full contact football.

I don't know when the first day in pads will be but I do know that we will only have pads twice (if that) during spring practices. Probably once, maybe twice before Red/Blue but again, I am not certain. Just throwing in what I know...

The reason I ask is that I will be out of town for the red/blue game, and I would like to at least see one full contact outing before fall.

I'm starting my vacation tomorrow and I plan to catch a few practices. I'd travel somewhere but I've only been back in Dallas for two weeks after nearly two months in San Diego. My vacation will be SMU football practice, The Old Monk, and my apartment.

I am pretty sure I remember some Ex-June Jones fan from Hawaii talking down about how June didn't like for his players to hit full speed in the off season.
