There's an SMU connection in here somewhere...I heard Oscar was scurrying up the stairs of an Aloha Airlines plane at HNL yesterday.

Well, there was that little trip to Hawai'i that he took to visit Herm Frazier. I believe he took Aloha on his trips between the islands.
