I quite enjoyed the read. Yes the refurbished was a flub, but I found no "axe to grind" with the piece(s). In fact, I found it pro-SMU. And I'm almost positive that the bleachers he speaks of are the soccer field bleachers. Though, I have not been to JJ's office... yet.

Before reading the comments here, i was going to post: Wow, I love that we're still getting great pub in Hawaii. I hope we have some great stuff in the DMN leading up to the season. I was quite shocked that we didn't even get a Coach Gansz story. Hopefully in the spring.

A story that makes the case that there's no real reason to come to SMU except for the gargantuan "challenge" it presents is not good pub.

I don't see that as the case it made. I read the article as that that is/was the perception.
