League City (Texas) Clear Creek offensive tackle Jared Biard was one of the prospects who made the trek to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Red-White spring game. The 6-foot-7, 270-pound honorable mention all-district honoree is still waiting on his first offer, but several schools are keeping close tabs on him.

"My top schools are Arizona, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Nebraska. They all contact me (by mail) at least once a week, and the U of H contacts me a lot, too. I also get letters from a bunch of other schools around the country.

"Education is important to me, and I'd like to go to a school that has pride. I want a team that wants to do good. I guess I want to play for a real good team. Closeness to home will be a factor, too, and their facilities."
