Since we have being doing such a good job on the offensive and defensive lines I was just wondering what other positions we need to add to this class with only about 5 scholarships left to give. Here is my list.
1 Quarterback
2 Cornerbacks
1 Linebacker
1 Defensive Tackle
Give me your lists of 5 (assuming that's all the scohalrships we have left) at the positions you think we need to fill to close out the class.

I'd take 2 QBs in this Class since Willis will be entering his Senior year when these kids hit school. Love to get a big time Division 1A transfer in the spring semester who could be groomed to replace Willis. We'll see about this years class and Turner-I just think most on this board are overly optimistic about this group.
In addition take as many GREAT DT you can get your hands on since they are a premium for non-BCS schools-be overjoyed if you get one great one.
We need all kinds of athletes at LB.

I'd rather have a Division 1A Transfer because if you did that you would have about 5-6 QBs who were classified as Freshman or Sophmores.

Do we even need to give Hollingshead a scholey? I mean, he's already got the free tuition thing with his dad being on staff.

Rumor has it that Nathan [deleted] at Arkansas is looking at finding a new team in Texas to play for.

He should have picked the right team (SMU) the first time!

Smart, Odiari, Bonilla, and Fleps will do fine. Just watch. But SMU does need a whole lot more depth. I grant you that.

I have not heard that. Last I heard, although Casey improved greatly in the spring, was that Nathan was pushing Casey for the starting position.

of course, fueling that speculation is the arrival of former No. 1 National Blue Chip QB Ryan Mallett as a transfer from Michigan. Wouldn't be surprised. I hate that we let the UT kid (Kinne)get away to Tulsa-man he would have been a perfect fit except he would have become eligible in Willis' senior season
