This is a report on a beloved Razorbacks' player. As many know, Arkansas is fiercely jealous of UT and hates to be out done by the Horns in anything. It looks like the Razorbacks are now trying to challenge the Horns in the Book 'em category.
Traffic tumult leads to linebacker’s arrest
BY TOM MURPHY ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE
FAYETTEVILLE  University of Arkansas linebacker Wendel Davis and a man with whom he allegedly had previous run-ins have been charged with felonies stemming from a traffic incident Tuesday.
Davis, 20, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief for allegedly causing approximately $3,000 worth of damage to a Nissan Altima driven by Onyebuchi Odunukwe. Odunukwe, 20, who allegedly bumped into the motor scooter driven by Davis on Maple Street with his car Tuesday, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with felony aggravated assault and terroristic threatening, a misdemeanor.

I started to post this today. UA's starting middle linebacker was recently kicked off the team for a felony arrest, another has been arrested for DWI within the past week and now this LB. They are in more trouble at LB than we are. All the sports talk shows are filled with callers trying to project where they are going to move players from to play LB. Kinda fun to listen to their troubles.
BTW, the story is already being changed to state that the Nissan driver was purposely targeting the LB and hit him intentionally. The LB was reacting in anger and self defense.

Sounds like the 'Justin Willis defense'.

I do not remember exactly what he did, but with his past record and with the new charges he was kicked out of the University, not just the football team. The FB coach waited to see what the University was going to do beofre they made their decision. I think he also had some issues before he ever enrolled. Not a role model.
