Another tradition you should know about: more than half of the concession stands in Ford Stadium will be 'closed' on gameday. The concession stands that are open will be staffed by the most inept people you will ever meet (UNT dropouts) and they take their sweet [deleted] time getting your order to you. One SMU fan previously posted on here that it took him an entire quarter of the game to stand in line, place his order and get back to his seat!
Another tradition: if you have children or grandchildren under the age of 10 and you take them to the game, they will most likely want to go to the 'play area' in the south endzone (rock climbing wall, teeter-totter, etc.) and will have no interest in the game itself.

Speaking of seating: Where should I sit for the TCU game?
I'm going to need 6 tickets.
Where and from whom should I purchase them?

I would say 102/103/104/105 or 202/203/204/205 if you can get them. If not, use the Jtstang method and buy end zone seats and then sit in 102/103/104/105 or 202/203/204/205. Trouble is with TCU it might actually be a pretty full stadium. Call the ticket office, but I do not know if they are selling single game yet.

The TCUers will be supplied with 126/127/128 and 226/227/228 or there about. Band and students are around 120/121. Sun shines bright (until dark) on all of the 120s and 220s. It will be pretty low by game time. I think you will be much happier on the west side center.

Yeah, we've been in BOTH 120 and 121, depending on which year. I should've clarified I didn't know which section we are currently assigned to. I know where we sit, dude.

Wear white and sit in mrydel's lap with JT. Find RB11 and start a conversation. Listen to Peruna. Watch SMU pound TCU. The full SMU experience.

couch 'em wrote:"She'll be loaded with Peruna when she comes...." During Prohibition everyone could get hammered on Peruna because it was "medicine" and thus was allowed to be full of alcohol. Much like pot in California.
Is the Peruna Punch still available ?
If not what is SMU's favorite alternative?
