With the infusion of June Jones' visibility and increased curiosity/interest - people may take a chance on getting re-acquainted with Mustang Football - is 8,000 totally out of the question?

A little perspective...when we talk about "season ticket holders," we're talking about unique instances where an individual owns 1 or more tickets, right? This being the case, last year's total of <4000 tells me that even the loyal 1500 didn't even have season tickets. Most have between 2 and 4, right? Average three each, and that's 4500. If the 1500 buy just one more (I know I did), that's 6000. Still a lot to be desired with respect to reaching out to everyday Dallas sports guy...as well as the rest of the SMU community not a part of the 1500.

You gotta crawl before you can walk. If we make 7000-7500, I would consider that a great step considering that we were in 3,000s for the last 4-5 years.
The bloom is on the rose for June's first year. Success will continue to add to the numbers. That's the only way it's going to grow.

It is true that we should be able to get more people to buy, as the number does not reflect how many purchasers, only the number of seats sold. I bought 6, but I still only represent one fan. I will be making sure that all tickets are used for every game however.

9/10 the fall after you graduate there's a shot.
If you're around the next year I'm sure aTm will sell it out.

Go to a road game. Tech or A&M should work.

Who gave up these seats I bought this year?
104 row 8 seats 1 & 2
I called in about 2 weeks after the last game last year and I was second on the waiting list.
(Before the June Jones hire)
You don’t have to admit it…

The problem is, even the few sellouts we've had feel like road games.

You're 2 rows up from me....there were plenty of empty seats in that section last year. I doubt anyone gave those up.
