The first task was accomplished through a report by a committee of bishops of the United Methodist Church, released June 19, that gave a scathing recapitulation of the scandal.


Anybody ever see a copy of the bishop's report and/or know where I can get a copy? I never read it and I'd like to.

A link would be even better.

I'd be curious in a copy of the Bishop's report as well...I have heard of that report a few times and would be interested in reading it.

And can somebody tell me why the Methodist church was commissioned to do a study? I don't really understand the relationship. Were there clergy on the board of regents or what was the connection with SMU athletics?

I'm guessing because the "M" stands for "Methodist" but I don't know for sure.

I wondering more about the relationships that led to the bishop's report and less about the obvious methodist connection.
