I still love his 80 yard TD against against the Aggies down in College Station, the game was actually close at the time. Romo made a perfect throw just over the Aggie defenders to Chase running down the sideline and he caught it in perfect stride and was giving nice hand gestures all the way to the endzone.
Someone put that one up!

the day or maybe two after JJ was hired, it was such good radio on Dunham & Miller when coach was asked whether he'd met his radio team yet...he responded no, then they rolled that clip of Rich & Craig.

Thank you so much for doing that, I've been wanting to do it myself for a long time, but never had the video.... and only part of the audio. So what did you use to sink it up? When you could here the "he caught it" being screamed from the other (SMU) booth from the TV broadcast? Man, I would have loved to have heard that. Sounds like radio gold. How did JJ respond?

When asked if he'd met the radio team, JJ said "umm..no? Is it you guys?" They said "well...kind of...here's a listen."
Afterward, JJ said something to the effect of "well that sounds like some excitement;" Ticket guys responded with something to the effect of 'yeah, and that's with SMU sucking..so imagine what it will be like when they're good!' Followed by good natured chuckles all around

Actually I just completely turned the audio of sound off. And tried to get it where it was close enough. Didn't get it perfectly, cause I could see the refs mouth moving like half a second after I heard him call the penalty on us but still came out nearly perfect surprisingly.
Anyone still remember what they did when Bobby caught the ball? I fell to the ground and started screaming.

That is the best video/audio rendition I have seen yet. Thanks for linking that for us.

I was at a Stars game, had a buddy giving me play by play over the phone, basically reading off the GameCast off of ESPN.com. "Not looking good, 80 yards with 23 seconds left, buddy." Finally it went forever without him having updates, I told him, "Dude, go to PonyFans.com the game has to be over by now...." "Holy crap, dude! They won!" I got up in the middle of the AAC and chanted "S-M-U! S-M-U!...." People gave me looks, I watched the whole game as soon as I got back to Austin that night.

Oh and good work with the sinking, but you don't have to worry about he refs, sometimes there audio is delayed anyhow.... due to the mic, etc.

Somebody needs to rate that - 5 stars.

Perhaps it would have worked better if he had tried to sync it rather than sink it. I shudder to think of the audio sinking into the sea.
